• Accountant/Bookkeeper
  
  Job Description:
  InterControllers is aggressively seeking an Accountant/Bookkeeper who has a minimum of 3 years experience. Ideally, candidate will have an accounting degree, but consideration will be given to individuals with bookkeeping experience or students working towards a degree in accounting. There may be part-time positions as well as full-time positions available. Candidates must have strong communication skills, organizational skills, ability to multi task, and demonstrate a team player attitude.

  Responsibilities:
  Process and maintain A/P
  Process and maintain A/R
  Maintain customer accounts
  Make journal entries
  Process credit card receipts
  Maintain prepaid accounts
  Reconcile bank statements
  Process payroll and maintain employee records
  Process payroll, regulatory, and tax reporting.
  Support the controller in the completion of financial activities, reports, and projects as needed.
  
  Job Experience:
  Accounts Payable, Data Entry, Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, Bookkeeping, Financial Statements, General Ledger, Ten Key by Touch.
  You should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, general ledger software, and should possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with QuickBooks and

  Processing and coding bills
  Posting invoices to vendor files
  Correspond with company personnel and outside vendors
  Code expenses to general ledger accounts on a daily basis
  Data entry into AR/AP module of clients accounting software
  Process checks complete with supporting documentation
  
  Qualifications:
  One year of experience in accounts payable/receivable is desired
  Must be detail oriented
  Must be flexible to change and able to work in a team environment
  Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
  Excellent computer skills, including experience using an accounts payable software
